"… there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."  - 1 Corinthians 12:25-27

Community groups are small gatherings of people that meet in homes, at restaurants and in the church. Each group has a slightly different feel but all are committed to growing in community, studying the bible, and praying together (Acts 2:42). The time is typically relaxed and provides not only an avenue to connect to others in the church but also a great opportunity to grow.

Several “open groups” are listed below. We invite you to drop in sometime and check it out. Other opportunities are also available and new groups will be starting this fall. If you’re interested in joining a community group contact Pastor Matt at

‘A Grace Disguised’ Adult Class:  Sooner or later all people suffer loss, in little doses or big ones, suddenly or over time, privately or in public settings. Loss is as much a part of normal life as birth - for as surely as we are born into this world, we suffer before we leave it.  This class will show us how it is possible to live in and be enlarged by loss, even as we continue to experience it. This class meets from 6:45-7:45pm on Wednesday nights in the Fellowship Room.

MEN'S tuesday morning BIBLE STUDY

We’re studying the book of a Study on Paul’s letter to Titus and we would love for you to join us anytime. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ and how do we apply that good news to our everyday life? Those are the kind of big questions that arise in the book. We’re using Tim Keller’s book Galatians for You as our guide. Check out the book in the lobby. We meet every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00am in the Chapel. Led by Pastor Matt Rose.

Bible Study Fellowship

Outside our walls, “Bible Study Fellowship” is a great opportunity to grow in your faith through in-depth bible study and to connect with other Christians. Meetings are held in several different cities in our area including Holland, Zeeland and Grandville. There are men’s, women’s, and family groups. If you would like more information check out their website ( or talk with Pastor Matt.

The Women’s Book Club meets on the 3rd Monday of every month in a different home for a time of conversation, community, and fun. Women of all ages are welcome. For more information contact Marge Petroelje at 616.688.5461.
